Our partnership with St John’s North Ryde Anglican

“Making disciples of Jesus through connection, growing and serving”

St John’s Preschool was established in 1970 by the Parish Council of St John’s Anglican Church, North Ryde. The philosophy of the preschool is founded on and shaped by Christian beliefs and as a result we love and serve God in all that we do.

We work in partnership with the community and ministry team at North Ryde Anglican. We have a weekly connection with the North Ryde Anglican ministry team through music times on Tuesday and Friday afternoons as well as the opportunity of sharing community through our Preschool church services. Families are invited to attend ‘family friendly’ services throughout the year designed to build the connections amongst our families in the Preschool as well as with the church network. The preschool children participate in this service and families share lunch in the church grounds afterwards. Feedback over the years has shown that these services provide a strong sense of connection to the preschool for families and help create and strengthen community ties.

St John’s North Ryde Anglican has a very active ministry and there are many ways that your family can be involved in the wider activities of the church community such as ESL classes, Playgroup (Tuesday morning), BLAST Kid’s Club Friday afternoon (primary aged students), ANCHOR Youth Group, and Weekly Services.
